Thing 12

Well, this was certainly interesting. Commenting is more complex than it looks. It has its own set of rules (most of which are common sense or common courtesy). I wrote on the 5 blogs in our group, either complementing on their site or on it's appearance. I even came across one blogger who had me feeling so at home she could have been writing on my blog! I had a harder time on the other blogs. I either felt like I was in the middle of a conversation I didn't completely understand or I felt like an interloper. I went to ones on the National Board for Professional teachers and felt totally lost. I went to search out algebra but ended up with lesson plans and teachers individual sites.
I can see this will take more practice. I will add to this post when I feel more comfortable and actually join a conversation outside the group.

I do agree that there are some blogs out there that have a comment section, where it does seem to ramble a bit. But, it's no different that having a bunch of students who all want to share what they feel is the most important information in the world. Keep up the good work, and i'm looking forward to reading more from you.

I think we are all learning and finding places to revisit later. I can imagine ways of using so much of this but just not enough time to explore.
